SECURE 2.0 directed the IRS to update the EPCRS program, to expand the scope of self-correction, and to provide more flexibility for correcting overpayment failures. Thomas will explore the changes to EPCRS made by SECURE 2.0, and will discuss the expanded self-correction. He will also discuss considerations for using the VCP program in light of the SECURE 2.0 changes.
