Ideally, applicants will have a terminal degree in Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution, demonstrated strength or a commitment to excellence in teaching, work experience in the profession, and a willingness to mentor undergraduate students in research. Also preferred, the terminal degree will be earned in a program with a traditional, campus-based doctoral program. ABDs within one year of degree completion will be considered. Also, candidates with a C.P.A. and a graduate degree in a business discipline will be considered. We seek candidates whose research, teaching, and service have prepared them to contribute to our commitment to the engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse audiences in higher education, particularly in the accounting discipline. For full consideration, applications should be submitted by September 15, 2026. Applicants should submit a letter of application and a curriculum vitae. Candidates who advance in the search will be asked to provide unofficial transcripts and the names, telephone numbers, and email addresses of three references. Background checks are required before candidates can be brought to campus for interviews. Official transcripts are required before a candidate can be hired.
