Senior Accountant Position
Looking for a Senior Accountant for small CPA Firm in Hammond, LA that will support daily accounting operations, prepare reports, reconcile accounts, assist with internal financial processes and tax preparation.

Responsibilities: Monthly data entry and bank reconciliation. Preparation of sales tax and payroll tax reports. Month end close including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
Requirements: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred. 3+ years of professional accounting experience preferred. Strong experience with general ledger, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close. Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain supporting documentation. Strong attention to detail, confidentiality and follow through with assignments. Proficiency with accounting systems, spreadsheets, calculators and standard office tools.
Salary: $50,000 - $75,000
